It is a celebration of its cultures and traditions, and showcases the indigenous performances, religious rituals, and also shows cooking demos that features the best Ilocano dishes.

    The Kannawidan Festival is the pride of the Ilocanos, because of its significance, and how it shows the uniqueness of the province. It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January and ends on the first week of February. It is important to the Ilocanos that the youth recognize this celebration because it is our culture.
