Third Quarter Blues

  When the third quarter was rolling in, one of my thoughts were "Finally, we're halfway there." and now we are nearing the fourth quarter. Nearing the end of this school year. What a nightmare.

    This is the quarter where we finally got news of opening face to face classes again. I am incredibly tired. I feel as if I am getting worse at managing everything once again. The first and second quarters weren't a huge trouble for me luckily, but recently I've been failing to manage my time properly.

    What does this mean for me? Pain. What does this mean for my teachers? Also pain, because I am bad at doing things. I don't know if I have much to reflect on. I've been making some music occasionally, so that's something. I learned just as much as I did the previous quarters, and the previous year, that being, not that much to be honest. I don't care too much, which might be disappointing and/or concerning to some people, but I think it's a matter of opinion. School isn't everything.
    
    It is however, definitely important to go to school and learn, that of which hasn't been happening to many people lately because of this damned system. I certainly hope things can get better. Hope, am I right?
    
    Being trans is hard. It's really hard. I can't explain it to anyone who isn't trans and sometimes that makes me feel misunderstood, unheard, and hurt. It especially hurts when your identity is disrespected, because nobody knows you as much as you do. No matter how much you tell people about yourself, they can only ever know a fraction of what you know, and your experiences with yourself.
    
    I try to help myself. I occasionally get help elsewhere. But you know how it is, insane things happen all the time. I definitely need to sleep more. And like, get off social media for a bit. Anyway, moving on, I'm gonna just like rest or something after this. I'm too tired.

 Vigan City Fiesta Celebration in the New Normal      It is important to celebrate and have fun, but unfortunately, it doesn’t come without its risks.      The new normal is a burden we all have to deal with, and is also limits us to be able to properly celebrate fiestas and whatnot. I understand that it is an important tradition and celebration to many, but to be safe, I don’t think it is worth the risk of still getting the virus.      However, it is still possible but only if people follow the proper safety precautions, such as getting vaccinated, wearing a facemask, making sure to wash their hands, and trying to stay a distance away from other people.     If you can avoid it, then it is probably best to, in order to keep safe. It is still possible to celebrate a fiesta at home.

     The Lenten season is an important religious observance to the Christian Filipinos because it is a season to reflect on the suffering of Christ.      Lent of kwaresma is the season where the Filipino people set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ’s passion, suffering, death, burial, and resurrection. It begins on Ash Wednesday, which is the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches that came from Palm Sunday and placing them on the forehead of the devotee in the form of a cross.
